I realize that this is a catch-22 situation and so both increasing OSIA presence and membership have equal priority.</p><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">The current set of tasks needed, I believe, are:</p><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">review current legislation proposals relating to the software and hardware industries</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">review current legislation proposals related to privacy concerns</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">advocating for open standards especially in the field of medicine</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">locate any exhibitions or conferences where an OSIA presence would be beneficial</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">locate any complementary organizations.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">Update the current website to allow<ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">referrals / areas of specializations<br></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">sale of OSIA branded merchandise</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">open source job-site</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">Add a smallish add mechanism to the website.</li></ul></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">Newsletter.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">Find large industry sponsors for OSIA.<ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">Vacancies</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">Insurance etc.</li></ul></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">OSIA conference, maybe standalone or maybe in conjunction with LCA.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;">Become a company start-up helper.
