Evening all, and welcome to the first OSIA update for 2014.

*** Did you receive your OSIA case studies brochure? ***

Towards the end of last year, copies of the (2nd edition) case studies
brochure and OSIA strategic plan were posted out to all financial
members.

A small number of these have come back as undeliverable, suggesting
that in some cases our membership records may not be up to date.

If you are a financial member and did not receive your copies of these
documents in the last couple of months, please contact OSIA secretary
Mike Hideo <secretary at osia.com.au> so he can update your address in our
records and re-post the documents to you.

*** Upcoming events ***

VICTORIA (March)

In the December update I mentioned that the next OSIA event would be
held in Melbourne on 13 March. For reasons beyond our control we've had
to postpone this to the following week.

Whilst we don't have the exact date yet, I can confirm that the
Melbourne event will now be held during the week 17 - 21 March. OSIA
Victorian Director Daniel Jitnah will post full details to the list
within the next few days.

NEW SOUTH WALES (7 May)

OSIA's next member event after Melbourne will be held in Sydney on the
evening of 7 May 2014.

As that is during the same week as CeBIT, which this year is being held
at the Olympic stadium, we're exploring the possibility of holding the
OSIA event in the Western suburbs, to make it easier to attend for any
interstate members who may be in town that week for CeBIT.

Further details will be available in March.

*** Member referral service ***

Further progress has been made on development of the member referral
service, with the project now being at least three quarters of the way
to completion.

*** Board meetings ***

Since the last update, the Board has met by teleconference twice, on 17
Jan & 14 Feb, and will meet next in Melbourne during March on the day of
the upcoming member event.

As always, members are encouraged to bring any matters of relevance to
the Board to our attention, either on this list or by contacting Mike,
David, Don, Daniel or me offline.

Regards,
