[Osia-members] Melbourne Event on 16 July 2014

Hi Members and Friends

OSIA is organising an event on 16 July 2014 early evening. (6pm)

We are finalising the details, ie venue. (somewhere in or near the
Melbourne CBD)

At this event we have a presentation:

Lev Lafayette will talk about the wonderful things they do at the V3
Alliance (previously VPAC) Supercomputing facility in Melbourne using
...well Supercomputers! and Linux and other open source software.

More details (abstract and Presenter's bio) to follow as soon as they
are available, so stay tuned.

Note also the Board of OSIA will be meeting in Melbourne on the same
day, so the usual "feel welcome to nag a Board Member about an Open
Source business issue affecting you" applies as usual!
