[Osia-members] Stats on Free Software?

I have been asked:

> Do you know where I could get some upto date statistics on used of free software in Australia?

I said I wasn't aware of anyone collecting these statistics, and that the question itself is hard to interpret (eg all Android devices have free software on them).

If anyone has any further thoughts or information sources I will pass them on.
