[Osia-members] Stats on Free Software?

I'm interested to know the answer as well ;)
There are some good stats for website/server software from BuiltWith.com
and you can also narrow it down by country I think. Similar stats are also
at http://w3techs.com
I would generally agree though that the person needs to be a bit more
specific about the type of stats they are after. Otherwise, I think its a
fair bet to say that 100% of people that touch an electrical device or get
service from a business have used or benefitted from open source software
in some direct or indirect way.
For example, everyone who uses facebook benefits from PHP being open source
(among others) and every NPO/NGO I'm aware of that operates in the 3rd
world (including the UN, world bank, etc) all utilise open source software
at some level.
So, basically everyone on earth aside from people like this
